How to consign your gear

We accept drop-offs for any season, anytime during store hours. Our aim is to pre-sort and process your items on the same day you bring them in so they are on the sales floor as soon as possible.

If you need help thinking of items to consign, we’ve compiled a Consignment Checklist for you - It’s a list of the many (but not all!) items you can bring down to consign. Download it and print it out to reference as you go through your house.

Drop-off Procedure

  1. Get your gear ready - Ensure your items are clean and assess for defects, excessive wear, or missing parts. We accept outdoor gear, clothing, and footwear that is fully functional and in good or better condition.

  2. Bring in your gear - Make your way to our shop with your assessed gear. Once you arrive we will set you up with an account while you read over and sign our Policies & Procedures. At this point we will start our pre-sort and separate your gear into 3 piles: Accept, No Thank You, and Bring Back.

  3. The rest is on us! - We will price and tag your consignment items and get them on the sales floor, as soon as the same day. We also choose some items to list here on our website. After that, our knowledgeable staff will help you get your gear sold!

Getting your money

We post your consignment credit 7 days after the item has sold to allow for potential returns.

You can use your credit for in-store purchases or you can take a payout at the shop. We give cash for payouts under $50, amounts above that are issued by cheque. For those who do not live on Vancouver Island, you can request a cheque be mailed to you. We do not send e-transfers.

Consignor Share %

We have a tiered consignor share % based on the item price. This is YOUR share when the item sells!
